{"id":15173,"date":"2021-09-29T15:21:47","date_gmt":"2021-09-29T21:21:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=15173"},"modified":"2021-09-30T07:57:07","modified_gmt":"2021-09-30T13:57:07","slug":"rinden-homenaje-a-los-martires-estudiantiles-de-1989","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=15173","title":{"rendered":"Rinden homenaje a los m\u00e1rtires estudiantiles de 1989 \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Entre agosto y septiembre de 1989, las fuerzas represivas del Gobierno secuestraron a diez l\u00edderes estudiantiles sancarlistas, cinco de ellos aparecieron asesinados con rasgos de tortura y el resto nunca apareci\u00f3.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala realiz\u00f3 la colocaci\u00f3n del clavel en el Monumento a los M\u00e1rtires, para honrar la memoria de los estudiantes que fueron v\u00edctimas de la \u00faltima oleada de violencia estatal de la d\u00e9cada de 1980. En el acto estuvo presente el rector en funciones, M. A. Pablo Oliva Soto; el secretario general, Dr. Gustavo Taracena Gil; y familiares de los m\u00e1rtires.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHace 32 a\u00f1os ocurri\u00f3 este acto abominable contra diez estudiantes, en donde diez familias sufrimos la desaparici\u00f3n y asesinato de nuestros parientes. Nos fue arrancada su presencia, sue\u00f1os y sonrisa. Nos presentamos ante ustedes para celebrar su vida\u201d, expres\u00f3 Olga Maricela Ochoa Ram\u00edrez, en representaci\u00f3n de los familiares de los m\u00e1rtires de 1989.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El secretario general, Dr. Gustavo Taracena, dio lectura al acuerdo del 22 de abril de 2020, donde el Consejo Superior Universitario (CSU) estableci\u00f3 dignificar la memoria de los h\u00e9roes y m\u00e1rtires universitarios, valiosos intelectuales, profesores, estudiantes y trabajadores que entregaron su vida por una patria m\u00e1s digna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fue por ello que se construy\u00f3 el monumento \u00abSitio de memoria y reconocimiento a las v\u00edctimas de la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala que sufrieron graves violaciones a los derechos humanos durante el Conflicto Armado Interno\u00bb, que contribuye a que las futuras generaciones conozcan esta parte de la historia nacional.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte, el rector en funciones, M. A. A su compa\u00f1ero lo record\u00f3 como una persona comprometida, que fue integrante de la Coordinadora Estudiantil Ejecutiva de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Estudiantes Universitarios (AEU) y presidente de Reforma Universitaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Carlos Humberto Cabrera Rivera <\/strong>fue estudiante de Humanidades y exdirigente de la AEU; <strong>Ubaldo Aar\u00f3n Ochoa Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, de la Escuela de Ciencia Pol\u00edtica, promovi\u00f3 la unidad estudiantil y fue un actor clave para lo que ser\u00eda el movimiento de Reforma Universitaria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eduardo Antonio L\u00f3pez Palencia <\/strong>era estudiante de la carrera de Qu\u00edmica Biol\u00f3gica y miembro de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Qu\u00edmicas y Farmacia. <strong>Carlos Ernesto Contreras Conde<\/strong> fue estudiante de Ciencias Psicol\u00f3gicas y apoy\u00f3 la conformaci\u00f3n de la Unidad de Acci\u00f3n y Solidaridad Estudiantil (UNASE). <strong>Hugo Leonel Gramajo L\u00f3pez <\/strong>hab\u00eda cerrado la carrera de Sociolog\u00eda, se desempe\u00f1aba como profesor en la Escuela de Ciencias de la Comunicaci\u00f3n y era consultor del Instituto Nacional de Administraci\u00f3n P\u00fablica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Carlos Leonel Chut\u00e1 Camey<\/strong>, de la carrera de Ciencias Jur\u00eddicas y Sociales, trabaj\u00f3 por la Reforma Universitaria a trav\u00e9s de agrupaciones estudiantiles. <strong>Iv\u00e1n Ernesto Gonz\u00e1lez Fuentes<\/strong> fue un destacado estudiante de Ciencias Psicol\u00f3gicas, miembro de la Junta Ejecutiva Coordinadora de la AEU y representante en el Di\u00e1logo Nacional sobre V\u00edctimas de Violencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Silvia Mar\u00eda Azurdia Utrera<\/strong> era estudiante de la Escuela de Ciencia Pol\u00edtica y feminista que realizaba trabajo pol\u00edtico a trav\u00e9s del grupo estudiantil FERO y la revista Alternativa.\u00a0 <strong>V\u00edctor Hugo Rodr\u00edguez Jaramillo, <\/strong>esposo de Silvia, a trav\u00e9s de sus escritos en Alternativa dej\u00f3 clara su postura en favor de los despose\u00eddos, tambi\u00e9n estaba trabajando por la Reforma Universitaria.<\/p>\n<div id=\"metaslider-id-15240\" style=\"width: 100%;\" class=\"ml-slider-3-106-0 metaslider metaslider-flex metaslider-15240 ml-slider has-dots-nav ms-theme-default\" role=\"region\" aria-label=\"Cambio de clavel en honor a los m\u00e1rtires de 1989\" data-height=\"4160\" data-width=\"6240\">\n    <div id=\"metaslider_container_15240\">\n        <div id=\"metaslider_15240\">\n            <ul class='slides'>\n                <li style=\"display: block; Fueron detenidos arbitrariamente en distintos lugares de la capital. Cinco de ellos aparecieron ejecutados extrajudicialmente y los otros cinco sufrieron desapariciones forzadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tras el asesinato de Oliverio Casta\u00f1eda de Le\u00f3n, secretario general de la AEU, el 20 de octubre de 1978, tambi\u00e9n fue desaparecido el 6 de noviembre de ese a\u00f1o Antonio Ciani Garc\u00eda, quien tom\u00f3 el lugar al frente de la AEU tras la muerte de Oliverio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde entonces la AEU ocult\u00f3 la identidad de sus directivos y el secretariado fue sustituido por una coordinadora que facilitaba el anonimato. El octavo mes de 1989 se denomin\u00f3 \u00abagosto negro\u00bb debido a los hechos de violencia que iniciaron con el asesinato de Danilo Barillas, dirigente de Democracia Cristiana, y Ren\u00e9 Estanislao L\u00f3pez, miembro de la juventud de ese partido.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ese mes estallaron tres bombas, una frente a la Rector\u00eda de la USAC; otra, en la sede de Brigadas de Paz; y la tercera, en la sede del Grupo de Apoyo Mutuo (GAM), donde se encontraba refugiada la familia de Rumualda Camey, miembro de esa asociaci\u00f3n que hab\u00eda sido desaparecida el 16 de agosto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La USAC sufri\u00f3 las consecuencias de ese \u00abagosto negro\u00bb con la muerte y desaparici\u00f3n de l\u00edderes universitarios. En diciembre de ese mismo a\u00f1o, otro miembro de la Coordinadora de la AEU fue ejecutado.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Extra\u00eddo de <\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align:
