{"id":15886,"date":"2021-10-31T09:06:14","date_gmt":"2021-10-31T15:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=15886"},"modified":"2021-10-31T20:12:18","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T02:12:18","slug":"conmemora-el-dia-de-la-dignificacion-de-los-martires-sancarlistas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=15886","title":{"rendered":"USAC conmemora el D\u00eda de la Dignificaci\u00f3n de los M\u00e1rtires Sancarlistas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fotos de Elio Morales<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Uno de los objetivos de esta actividad es construir la identidad universitaria mediante testimonios que concientizan sobre el impacto del conflicto armado interno en la USAC. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante la colocaci\u00f3n del clavel rojo, el pasado 30 de octubre, se honr\u00f3 la memoria y el legado de cientos de personas que fueron ejecutadas vilmente por buscar una sociedad justa y equitativa durante los gobiernos represivos que sucedieron a la Contrarrevoluci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta actividad, realizada en el ic\u00f3nico espacio de la Plaza de los M\u00e1rtires, tiene como fin resguardar y difundir la historia. En ese sentido, el rector en funciones, M. A. Pablo Oliva, expres\u00f3: \u201cHoy la tricentenaria universidad rinde con mucho respeto un solemne homenaje a sus hijos: estudiantes, intelectuales y acad\u00e9micos distinguidos que no dudaron en derramar su sangre en la b\u00fasqueda de la sabidur\u00eda y de una sociedad pr\u00f3spera, so\u00f1aron con que alg\u00fan d\u00eda todos tuvi\u00e9ramos las mismas oportunidades, sin distinci\u00f3n de clases\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En este acto, adem\u00e1s, estuvo presente el secretario general, Dr. Gustavo Taracena, quien dio lectura al punto de acta 7, inciso 7.5, del acta No. 45-2020, que dio vida a este acto donde se rinde tributo a los sancarlistas que fueron v\u00edctimas de violaciones a los derechos humanos: \u201cToda acci\u00f3n relacionada con la memoria hist\u00f3rica tiene componentes \u00e9ticos, pol\u00edticos y sociales profundos. Son actos de reparaci\u00f3n, de justicia y de reivindicaci\u00f3n para quienes les fue arrebatada la vida al defender sus ideales y comprometerse con la realidad social\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed tambi\u00e9n, el representante del&nbsp;Centro de la Memoria Hist\u00f3rica de la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala&nbsp; (CENMHIS), Lic. Marco Tulio \u00c1lvarez Bobadilla, manifest\u00f3 que indudablemente la realidad actual confirma que los h\u00e9roes y m\u00e1rtires de la USAC y del pueblo de Guatemala no estuvieron equivocados, identificaron que en este pa\u00eds es necesario luchar permanentemente por la justicia; contra la exclusi\u00f3n, discriminaci\u00f3n, racismo y corrupci\u00f3n, para el desarrollo de una naci\u00f3n que dignifique a sus habitantes como el centro de su quehacer.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Como representante de los familiares de las v\u00edctimas, particip\u00f3 la Lcda. Lidia Elizabeth Flori\u00e1n, quien, durante un emotivo mensaje, record\u00f3 a destacados sancarlistas que son un ejemplo digno de seguir. \u201cImitarlos significa poner en pr\u00e1ctica su legado y \u00e9tica, para que los que hoy se forman en esta universidad sean buenos y cr\u00edticos estudiantes, conocedores y defensores de sus derechos. Significa tambi\u00e9n ser responsables en la c\u00e1tedra e investigaci\u00f3n, en el compromiso y amor a la universidad, para defender su autonom\u00eda, as\u00ed como exigir el presupuesto que le corresponde, para no someterla a condicionamientos que la debilitan y desacreditan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al finalizar el acto protocolario, las autoridades universitarias y los familiares de las v\u00edctimas colocaron el clavel rojo en el Monumento de la Memoria Hist\u00f3rica.
