{"id":20409,"date":"2024-05-23T13:02:02","date_gmt":"2024-05-23T19:02:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=20409"},"modified":"2024-05-23T17:48:47","modified_gmt":"2024-05-23T23:48:47","slug":"usac-participa-en-lanzamiento-de-proyecto-de-csuca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/?p=20409","title":{"rendered":"USAC participa en lanzamiento de proyecto de USAID, Universidad de Arizona y  CSUCA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La Universidad de Arizona, USAID y  el Consejo Superior Universitario Centroamericano (CSUCA) ejecutan el proyecto \u201cUna generaci\u00f3n de investigadores sobre adaptaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica para la reducci\u00f3n del riesgo de desastres\u201d, dirigido a la regi\u00f3n de Latinoam\u00e9rica y el Caribe.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><br><strong><em>En representaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, asisti\u00f3 el Rector M. A. Walter Mazariegos, quien refiri\u00f3 que esta instituci\u00f3n cuenta con profesionales especializados para el proyecto.<br>\u201cLa USAC tiene el potencial de generar aportes significativos para mejorar la calidad de vida de nuestra regi\u00f3n. Se cuenta con 400 investigadores y las distintas unidades acad\u00e9micas, que est\u00e1n dispuestos a apoyar el desarrollo del tema planteado\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><br>En el evento tambi\u00e9n participa la Dra. Alice Burgos, Directora General de Investigaci\u00f3n; y la M. A. Olga Moscoso, Coordinadora General de Cooperaci\u00f3n y Relaciones Internacionales de la USAC. Ambas instancias han sido fundamentales para establecer alianzas que contribuyen a la integraci\u00f3n regional para la generaci\u00f3n de trabajos cient\u00edficos que inciden en el desarrollo sostenible. El Dr. Carlos Alvarado, Secretario General de CSUCA, coment\u00f3 que se busca conformar grupos de universitarios para intercambiar experiencias y conocimientos acerca del tema para plantear soluciones.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"6240\" height=\"4160\" src=\"https:\/\/soy.usac.edu.gt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/DSC08151.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20455\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Este proyecto tiene como objetivo principal atender y afrontar las problem\u00e1ticas clim\u00e1ticas que afectan a los diferentes pa\u00edses de una forma integral. Para ello se promueve la creaci\u00f3n de una comunidad de investigadores que aporten sus visiones desde diferentes disciplinas.<br>En la presentaci\u00f3n del proyecto se ha destacado la inclusi\u00f3n de enfoques de g\u00e9nero, comunidades ind\u00edgenas y otras vulnerables. En esta actividad las distintas universidades podr\u00e1n conformar una red para detectar las prioridades de investigaci\u00f3n y el fortalecimiento del proyecto.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
